iSQFT SALES PROMOTION DELIVERS A 40% RESPONSE
Cincinnati-based iSqFt is the construction industry's leading provider of online bid solicitation and preconstruction management services in the United States. iSqFt provides online solutions that increase the competitiveness of thousands of general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers by improving their efficiency and reducing cost.
iSqFt invited Justice & Young (J&Y) to develop a marketing program that would persuade general contactors to enlist for a trial of their software in the Atlanta and Minneapolis markets. Based on the fact that iSqFt could identify the specific decision makers by name and they were targeting just 50 general contractors in each market, J&Y quickly determined that the best approach was a multi-faceted direct response campaign designed to grab attention.
The objective of the campaign was to get general contractors into the iSqFt sales pipeline by either attending an event at a high-end restaurant or to make a commitment to try the software.
The direct marketing campaign was a series of three mailings: the first was a postcard describing how the network improved communications, the second was another postcard sent a week later stressing how iSqFt could increase efficiency, and the third week a dimensional mailer was sent consisting of a 9x26 inch industrial toolbox with a computer mouse inside containing the key message of Giving you the Tools for Preconstruction Success
The results were impressive. The Atlanta campaign achieved a response rate of 40% with 18 contractors attending an event at Chops Steakhouse and two more scheduling appointments for a trial. In Minneapolis, thirteen companies and 24 people attended an event at Ruth's Cris Steakhouse. Similar campaigns are currently being implemented in Phoenix and other iSqFt markets.

Open source is free to anyone, the most commonly used (probably 99% of the market), requires no long term contract to remain functional, and integrates seamlessly with just about anything in use today. The only downside is, you must be a trained professional to use it to build your website.
